I apologise for the hiatus - I have been working on getting the new website happening (amongst a few other projects on the boil). If you haven't had a sneak peek at it yet, you really should!

A word of caution - it has a name similar to this blogspot site - so if you are typing in the address into your browser window, make sure your browser doesn't automatically redirect you back to here! You should see this lady in the top right hand corner of the screen. :-)
Those that know I have recently discovered an ability to draw portraits (that I didn't realise I had!) naturally assumed this rather Spanish looking diva was one of my own creations... sorry to disappoint! But I do have a couple of attempts at sketching the landscapes I saw on my holiday, which with enough encouragement I might share with you all! Remember, I did say my milieu was portraits though... but at least the pictures are recognisable, so I suppose that is something towards their merit!
So, this will be the last entry for now on this Blogspot website. I will continue my blogging on the new site. Don't forget to sign up (again - sorry, there is no facility to transfer lists) for the newsletter on the Travel Blog page of the new site. This will ensure you get an email alerting you to a new entry on the blog.
I have now been home for almost three months, so as the trip specifics fade, I am thinking more about the lessons learnt, about how I like to travel, about what value there is to travel (for me, at least). Expect a post on this soon (on the new website, of course!).
I do hope you will join me and share your views (if you want - I know many people tell me they enjoy reading, and don't particularly want to write also!).
