Hello dear friends!
You may have thought that I was resting on my laurels (Where exactly are one's laurels? Or is this just a leafy sort of seat?). Ah - but this is not the case at all. I have been beavering away on these hot weekends in my non-air conditioned study - and you are all to blame!
Encouraged by the response from my travel blog during the last three months, I am finally (yes, I have thought about doing this for quite a while) putting together a website on travel. It will incorporate a blog, as well as picture galleries and better options for people to comment (via a Facebook feed).
It is only a hobby, and as you know, hobbies cost money... so I have bitten the bullet and even bought a web domain for it (the princely sum of $10!). We'll see how it all goes!
It's not quite there yet - I have far too many photos I want to share, and of course they all elicit stories of one kind or the other. I will probably do the unspeakable and go live before it is fully complete - it's all part of this letting go of perfection drive I am on! ;-)
But to whet your appetite - here's a sneak peak. What do you think? They are all my photos (makes the copyright issue easier!) And most unlike me - there are even two photos of yours truly on the site!
